
The Stolen Generations Council NSW/ ACT Incorporated (the Council) represents Stolen Generations Survivors and their Descendants in the NSW/ACT and provide support and referrals to health, community, justice services and repatriation for Members.
As a representative Stolen Generations Organisation, our Survivors have developed the leadership to support our Members to achieve collective healing.
The Council was established in 2009 by former residents of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal training Homes and stolen, adopted/fostered Survivors is one of the four independent Stolen Generations Organisations in NSW. The Council is funded by Aboriginal Affairs NSW, Department of Communities and Justice, the NSW Ministry of Health, The Healing Foundation and National Indigenous Australians Agency, recognising the important role that Stolen Generations Organisations play in supporting and promoting healing for Survivors, their Descendants and families.
